Please avoid using any harsh soaps or chemicals on the wood as it will shorten its life span. Gently wipe clean using a mild soap and water, and be sure to dry completley. We treat your board with a food grade butcher block mineral oil, immediatly after the engraving process, and periodically as needed before you purchase this item. We recommend you continue the care as needed, for your board, between usage as to extend its life.
